If you caught Ryan Plummer's recap of See Mosai Referrals in Action (or the webinar recording itself), you already know what we've released this year and why. I want to pick up where that leaves off, because in nine and a half years of doing implementation work at Forcura and now Mosai, I've learned that the feature list is never actually what determines ROI. Adoption is.
1. User buy-in is non-negotiable.
Your end users don't lie awake thinking about ROI — but they absolutely notice when something helps them work faster, cuts redundant steps, or just makes their day easier. Leaders need to say plainly why adoption matters and treat it as an organizational priority, even in the first few weeks when a new process feels like more clicks, not fewer.
2. Connect the technology to daily work, not features.
Training that walks through a feature list gets forgotten. Training that shows an intake coordinator, a clinician, and a sales rep exactly how it solves their problem sticks.
3. Executive sponsorship can't end at the purchase order.
Leadership's job isn't done when the deal closes — it's just starting. Consistent, visible communication from leadership throughout implementation (and after) tells your team this actually matters.
4. Go-live is the beginning, not the finish line.
Monitor adoption. Reinforce workflows. Keep coaching. The organizations that get the least value are the ones that treat go-live as a checkbox instead of the start of the real work.
5. Set clear expectations and ownership.
Define how the technology should be used, how you'll measure success, and who owns keeping adoption on track. Without that, “we'll figure it out as we go” quietly becomes “we never got around to it.”
6. Use feedback to actually improve, not just to listen.
When something isn't landing, dig into whether it's a training gap, a workflow mismatch, or the technology itself — then adjust. Users can tell the difference between being heard and being humored.
7. Share the wins.
Show your team, in concrete terms, how the technology is saving time, reducing duplicate work, or improving outcomes. Reinforcing the value you're already getting is what sustains engagement long after the novelty wears off.
That distinction is exactly where Part 2 of this series picks up: how Mosai's models have evolved over more than a decade to earn that trust, and what that evolution looks like in practice on the ground at BAYADA.
None of this is unique to Mosai — it's true of any technology investment in this industry. Our own colleague, Amie Nangle, PT DPT, put it well after sharing a stage with BAYADA at the 2026 HHCN FUTURE conference: the technology conversation and the trust conversation are the same conversation.
I've watched this play out with clients of every size, going back to my earliest days on the Forcura side of Mosai. The tool matters, but it's never the whole story — and getting the adoption piece right is the difference between a feature nobody uses and a workflow your team can't imagine working without.

Either way, I'd love to help you think through what adoption should look like for your team.
